阿敗碎碎唸

初識Snow Patrol，是在前陣子音樂頻道不斷輪播的MV中。一首「Chasing Cars」感傷哀慟的搖滾曲式，直截重擊入內心暗處，連帶俘虜了我的耳朵。

Chasing Cars是收錄在新專輯「Eyes Open」中的主打歌曲，後來在大熊推薦下，到MOD試聽該團第三張，同時也是以Snow Patrol為名發行的首張專輯「Final Straw」，主唱兼吉他手Gary Lightbody饒富磁性的嗓音，將所有曲目由頭至尾以一種低迴吟詠感傷憂鬱的旋律調性做為情感上的抒發和延續，讓我一聽驚為天人，兼之又有大熊拍胸脯掛保證，比Eyes Open更加原創耐聽，於是便到M@M Boutique將每月僅有不多的唱片預算一口氣用完。

在「Final Straw」中有許多值得一聽的好歌，比方第一首「How To Be Dead」，洋溢輕盈舒服的節拍，像是鄰家男孩的喃喃碎唸；「Somewhere a Clock Is Ticking」和「Same」則渲染了相當濃厚的Coldplay色彩；不過整張專輯裡最吸引我的還是「Run」這首曾一舉殺進全英單曲排行榜第5名的歌曲，雖然極盡催情灑狗血之能事，嘔心泣血悲傷到了一個極致（果然是和專輯名稱final straw前後呼應哪），不過聽著聽著還是不禁讓我差點噴淚，雖說早該過了為賦新詞強說愁的年紀，有些只有自己才能理解的淡淡惆悵仍會在某個時刻某種氛圍間，突地湧上心頭。


Live：找了很久，才發現這個版本的Live，我很喜歡當中鏡頭角度的切換，從每個團員生動的表情流轉至歌迷專注的神態，忽而激昂忽而優雅地在樂器彈奏間停留，很有親身參與的感覺！



Video：坦白說，這支video拍得實在有點不大對味，不過音質和CD的質感比較接近，蠻值得一聽。
